Reeses Cookies

Thanks to a fellow food blogger, I am sharing this recipe today with ya'll. These cookies use Ghee, which is clarified butter. It is the purest form of butter you can get, and it is DELICIOUS!

The recipe I am mimicking, used "FourthandHeart" Vanilla Ghee. But I spent my whole day off on a wild rabbit hunt for it, and I couldn't seem to find it. So I substituted with regular Ghee and added extra vanilla extract :)

These are actually better for you than other cookies because there is no refined sugar, pasture raised eggs, whole wheat flour, & all wholesome ingredients! Hey, this is an excuse to eat more right? I'd say so!


1 Cup of Whole Wheat Flour

1/2 Cup of Coconut Sugar ( I used vanilla coconut sugar)

1/2 Cup of Organic Cane Sugar ( I used turbinado sugar)

1 Cup of Rolled Oats

1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1/2 Cup of Melted Ghee

1 Pasture Raised Egg

So what you're supposed to do, is combine your dry ingredients in one bowl, and then your wet ingredients in another. After that you combine both together to form a dough. I however, don't follow rules & I play my own game and I just did one bowl to save time. Just as good. But if you aren't experienced with baking, use two bowls!

I forgot the salt.....LOL. Don't be like me!

After you mix your dough, form small dough balls and flaten with your palm onto a cookie sheet!

Now you will add in the Reeses. I do not add into the batter because they will melt alllllllllll up in yo cookies!

Bake on 375 for about 8 minutes or so to perfection :)

I definitely will be baking with Ghee more often. I can't describe how much I love this recipe. It is buttery, vanilla-y, smooth, unbelievable goodness.
