How To Cook The Perfect Chicken Breast

On a scale from 1 to 100, how many of you end up over-cooking your chicken breasts? Ok, cool you answered 853.


But seriously, chicken is unforgiving. You really need to give it a lot of flavor because it is so hard to make sure it is cooked to perfection! However, I have fool-proofed on how to make the perfect chicken breast.


The key is the temperature you are cooking it on. Most of the time, cooking on a lower temperature for a longer time for sure gives you moist meat. Not in this case.


I also believe that the Dijon mustard helps a lot too. Mustard is meant to be with chicken. Look at any pre-made chicken seasonings. The majority contain mustard! Well at least all of the ones I use haha.


Without further ado, keep scrolling to see how I learned to perfect chicken.



So first you'll want to melt your butter and garlic together. Do not over cook the garlic! It will get its cookin' in the oven!


Next you mix in your honey and the Dijon mustard.




This sauce may not look appetizing, but let me tell you....it is insanely good!


Take your sauce off of any high heat and set aside. Now to get your pan ready for baking. Line it with tinfoil....just trust me on this one. I will save you a lot of time! It would be such a tragedy to clean out of your pan after.


Season your breasts with salt and pepper and line up close to one another. Then pour all of that yummy sauce all over the chicken.


*IMPORTANT*


Bake for 15 minutes on 425. Baste after the 15 minutes. Then bake for another 20 minutes. Let rest for up to 5 minutes after that bake time.

You will then have delicious, moist, fool-proof chicken for any meal!



I was told "This is the best chicken breast I've ever tasted". So I'll leave it at that.

The flavor is great because it compliments the chicken, but at the same time it is not over-powering so that you can't use it for any other dish.
