Cream Cheese + Chocolate Chip Bakery Style Cookies
Updated: Dec 4, 2019
Could I create a longer name for this or what? Jeeze I want to slap myself for this creativity here.
But in all seriousness, these cookies are da bomb. Like clap your hands and do your happy dance good. I love them warmed up and paired with a nice homemade latte. Mmmm.
I am going to be doing a lot of baking around here since it is close to Christmas and because I don't need an excuse really to do anything soooo....
Look how cute I am with my little Christmas lights and everything. Getting all spirited up in here!!
Take your softened cream cheese, softened butter, egg, sugar and vanilla and mix with a paddle attachment in a stand mixer or you can use a regular mixer as well. I haven't had to use a regular mixer in a while but I am sure it will work just fine.
After you mix all the wet ingredients, slowly add in your dry ingredients.
Next step, chocolate chip town!
I make sure to use high cacao content in my chips just because it is higher in antioxidants and it tastes so much better.
The dough will actually feel like dough. It won't be sticky at all really.
Bake on 350 for 8-10 minutes. Eat warm or warm up when you eat the whole plate later.
I really love adding in cream cheese to all my desserts. It totally ups the flavor, creaminess + all that jazz.
What is your favorite Christmas cookie? Let me know in the comments!
