2019 vision board reflect
Wow, it has been such a year. It had its ups and its downs. I feel like this year though was really changing for me in the fact that I learned how to look at a lot of things from a different perspective.
When looking back at my 2019 vision board all I can say is wow, I am proud. Everything is done on that board besides two things and I went into it with absolutely no expectations. I think that is definitely key, do not have any crazy expectations but if you set goals, really put those goals in front of yourself daily so you can be reminded of them.
So I'll briefly go over the things I completed.
Get a dog - BANKSY is my life. If you follow me on Instagram you will definitely see how much this little guy means to me. Such a great blessing from Kevin.
Exercise more - I successfully purchased a membership with barre3 and my body has never felt better. I have the best weekly routine!
Minimalize - YES, this is so exciting. When we moved, I got rid of SO many things. I definitely marie kondo'd my life. This has also helped me realize the value of things and if things are just a want.
Help Kevin Graduate - HE IS A GRADUATE. Go bear go. This took a lot of support from my end because I had to be okay with him doing absolutely nothing around the house and what not so he could finish right.
NEW JOB - Holy toledo. One of the best things in the year. I nailed a job I am TRULY happy doing. One I never thought I'd get to.
Pick your battles - I've definitely gotten so much better at this. I have learned to just know when to let it be versus putting my energy into things.
Let go & Let God - When you let go of where you think you're supposed to be going and what you're supposed to be doing & just let God show you the way, things work out better. If I wouldn't have trusted God, I don't think I'd have the job I do or have the things that happened to me this year.
Buy a house - Indeed we did! A dream house that is. So, so blessed.
Spend less - I am definitely spending less than I was.
Create a new schedule - I can happily say I wake up earlier and I have a good schedule. It took a while but it was so worth it. One thing that helped me was working out at 6 am every day.
Heal old wounds - I've held a lot over my shoulders for a while before this past year. I've worked really hard this year and I learned that when people are bad to you it's not about you, it's about them. I've learned to forgive even harder than before, love harder than before, and learned to move on.
The two things I didn't do were, Buy a camera and go to New York. But as I said, I didn't have high expectations in the first place so I was pleased with how much I completed!
What goals did you complete this year?
